According to § 50 para. 2 sentence 1 no. 2 EStDV (Income Tax Implementing Regulation) allows for simplified proof of donation for donations up to €200.00; i.e., a data carrier (deposit slip/bank statement) on which the amount and recipient (foundation) are clearly identifiable and assignable is sufficient as proof; a proper donation receipt is then not necessary.
